Brand Story:
Moderland was founded by three friends united under a shared vision: to honor the authenticity of Mongolian cashmere. As natives of Mongolia, they observed how the term "sustainable cashmere" was often overused and diluted, straying far from ethical practices. Mongolia now produces 25% of the world’s cashmere exports, yet few know the true story behind this prized fiber.
From this vision, they launched the first multi-brand e-commerce platform dedicated to offering cashmere products from local Mongolian brands and factories that directly source their fibers from goat herders. Each piece reflects exceptional craftsmanship and lasting quality, designed to be passed down through generations. Unlike the mass-produced items found in high-street stores, these products are made with deep respect for the motherland and the herding communities whose livelihoods depend on it.
